Project Objectives: The project aims to offer temporary shelter and essential medical, preventive, and social services to trans and queer victims of gender-based violence and other HIV key populations.
Services within the framework of the project: A multidisciplinary team operates in the shelter, comprising a psychologist, a social worker, a lawyer, and a doctor. They work in accordance with the development and crisis resolution plans tailored to each case received in the shelter.
Additionally, the project’s lawyer and paralegal are available 24/7 to provide telephone and in-person consultations to victims of gender-based violence within the target population.
Results of the Project:
- 38 individuals utilized the temporary housing service throughout the year.
- Legal advice was provided to 52 individuals.
