Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, 2020 was a rough year. Social and Economic problems, unemployment, homelessness, health issues, restrictions on transportation, and social contacts severely affected the lives of trans people.
“TEMIDA” has been trying to reduce the damage caused by the pandemic throughout the year to the trans and queer community. We were constantly researching the needs of the trans and queer community and were mobilizing resources to meet those needs. However, due to a lack of resources no NGO will be able to replace the role of the government. The lack of public services and anti-crisis actions stood out during this pandemic.
We continue to advocate for various services and issues with the government, partners, and donors.
Throughout the year, several important events occurred.
