Dear readers, This year, we had unique challenges regarding social justice, equality, and freedom of expression. Fighting for the rights of marginalized groups, especially LGBT + people, calls for our hard work, patience, and faith in a better future. This covers the work accomplished by TEMIDA and provides information on the 2021 results of the organization. TEMIDA Team effectively performed strategic plans for advocacy and searching of the foundations, receiving several essential changes for trans* and other LGBQ people. However, our activities included coping strategies for the COVID-19 pandemic. Since 2020, the pandemic has put vulnerable groups at significant risk (health, rights, economy, etc.) and affected their environment, income, health, and housing issues. The organization empowered a number of trans people through the development of their skills and employment. TEMIDA helped volunteers, independent groups, and activists plan activities and provided them with various resources. Special thanks to the administrative staff for their flexibility and outstanding project management. Also, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our donors and partner organizations; without their involvement and support, we would not be able to achieve our goals for 2021. The world is changing, and we are changing it for the better. Check our Annual Report (brief) here
