Aim of the Project: The project aims to empower the trans community by mobilizing the community and informing and providing social worker service.
Planned activities: Under this project, TEMIDA creatively mobilizes the community by organizing drag performances. Participants in the performance will provide gender-related research. In addition, they will work on the issues prevalent in society and bring them to the general public through performances.
The project’s social worker and case management services are for the empowerment of transgender community members.
Within the framework of the project, 50 transgender people will receive the services of a social worker and the necessary resources for their nutritional and medical needs.
The project plans to create a communication strategy for the organization and spread information through social media channels.
In addition, the 4th national TransConference is planned, where TEMIDA’s team will review the current situation in the country on trans issues and introduce the existing organizational services and advocacy processes in which the Queer Association – TEMIDA and other community organizations are involved.
